| Here at PJBC our number 1 priority is brewing beer with the highest quality ingredients and incredible attention to detail. Our grain is imported from the UK, our hops from the Pacific Northwest, and our yeast from points around the globe. Our 7 barrel “nano” system means that we brew very small batches (about 220 gallons at a time), in comparison to other micro breweries. Though small, this batch size allows us to brew a wide variety of selections while retaining freshness and flavors often lost in larger brew houses. We take great pride in placing quality first. LET'S MEET THE FAMILY: Schooner Ale An homage to Port Jefferson's prominence as a nineteenth-century shipbuilding hub, Schooner Ale is an English-style pale ale with a dose of American brewing ingenuity. To achieve its distinct, palatable profile of clean malt and citrus, with a bitter finale, we implore a continuous regimen of hopping during its boil, and dry-hopping throughout fermentation. Our flagship. Pun intended. Set sail.
